Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Limited (BCGCL) is a joint venture company formed by leading public sector enterprises with the objective of promoting coal gasification and chemical production in India. The company has been established to support the Government of India’s vision of enhancing energy security and reducing dependency on imported fuels by utilizing domestic coal resources efficiently.The project involves setting up state-of-the-art coal gasification plants with significant production capacity, ensuring optimal utilization of resources while minimizing environmental impact. BCGCL is also working in collaboration with various stakeholders and technology partners to implement efficient and eco-friendly solutions.Through its operations, BCGCL aims to contribute to the growth of India’s energy and chemical sectors while supporting the “Make in India” initiative and fostering economic development.
